Frequently asked questions

Q: Where can I find event photos from a competition I attended?
A: You may view and order photos from recent competitions by clicking the View Photos button located at the top right of our website.

Q: Where can I get an Event Code to view photos?
A: You'll need an event code in order to view photos from your competition. At all competitions we attend Flyers are passed out that provide the event code. If you do not have an event code from a recent competition Contact Us Form to be notified when your photos are online.

Q: How long are photos from my competition available to view and purchase online?
A: In general we make available your competition photos for about 6 months. After photos have been removed from our website they will be archived on DVD in the event furure order requests are made.

Q: I ordered photos at a recent competition and did not pick them up, how long before I receive them in the mail?
A: Typically photos that are printed on site and not picked up on site are mailed within a couple of days. In some cases as indicated on your receipt it may take between 2-4 weeks before you receive your order. Our goal is to print all orders on site and have the photos you ordered delievered to you before you leave the event; however during some events ordering is extremely heavy and not all orders are able to be printed on site.

Q: How long after a competition will it be before my photos are available online?
A: Photos from recent competitions are usually made available online in just a couple of days after the event. After each event we further sort the many thousands of photos taken at your competition. In some cases we remove any out of focus photos or blurred photos from the online display system. No one wants to order photos that are out of focus or blurred so we sort through and eleminate these types of shots prior to placing them online. In some cases it may take up to one week before photos are available online.

Q: I can not locate our Team Photos where are they located?
A: Team photos are located in the same place as action shots. When viewing photos make sure to scroll through all the photos available. During some competitions teams may have bypassed the Team Portrait area. Typically when teams bypass the Team Portrait area they were either running behind scheduel for warm up or for their performance. If you do not see your Teams Portraits make sure to look under any other teams who have the same or similar name. In some cases our team photographer may have placed your Team Photos in the wrong location within our team list.

Q: I do not see any of our teams photos on this website, where are they?
A: In some cases team performances are missed in their entirety meaning no photos were taken. There are a variety of reasons this occurs and it is always our intention to capture photos for all teams competing. In some cases we simply placed your teams photos in the wrong location within the team list and with further examination you may locate your photos in a team with a similar name.

Q: What is the policy for ordering Magazine Cover Photo Prints?
A: When ordering Magazine Cover Photo Prints you should consider the layout of the photo you wish to appear on the cover. Team Portraits do not make very good Magazine cover prints because of the orientation of the photo. The best types of photos to be used in Magazine Cover Prints are photos that more closley isolate your child. Follow this link for examples of the types of photos that work best.

Q: I have completed the process of placing an order but can not check out and finish my order, what am I doing wrong?
A: It is likely you are using an incompatable web browser. In most cases you may run into problems if you are trying to order with any web browser other than Internet Explorer. Problems have been reported from people trying to order with AOL web browser and Firefox Web Browser. If you can not complete your order launch Internet Explorer and place your order this way.

Q: When I view Photos I can not see the whole screen, how do I fix this?
A: Our photo viewing system requires that you are running a minimum screen resolution of 1024x768. Change your resolution to at least 1024x768

Q: When does the Buy One Get One Free Special Run?
A: From time to time we offer a Buy One Get One Free Special. These specials are offered randomly and are automatically generated by the website itself. If you are viewing photos during this time and are offered a buy one get one free special please make sure to place your order for a minimum of 2 packages. At the time of check out the price of your second package will be deducted from your total. Buy one get one free applies to a minimum of 2 packages ordered. In order to receive the discount you must order more than one package, the package can be 2 of the same packages or 2 different packages, the choice is yours but your quantity must be at least 2 in order to receive the discount.

Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: National Event Photography accepts all major credit cards as well as Most debit cards along with paypal. PayPal is used exclusively as our payment processor. You are not required to have an account with paypal and may use your preferred method of payment as well. If you wish to pay Check by mail please indicate this at the time of checkout and a pay by mail order form will be generated for you to mail with your order.

Q: I placed an order and when I received it there were photo(s) that were incorrect. How can I get the correct photos?
A: Much attention is given to detail and getting it right the first time however errors still occur. If you placed an order and have received it either on site or by mail and it is incorrect please use our online contact us form to notify us. In your contact request please provide us with your order number and the name of the event along with your first and last name your phone number and indicate which of the photo(s) are incorrect. We will also need the correct photo filename in order to correct your order. The photo file name is located just below the photo you are viewing and hi lighted in yellow example Photo Name: ABC_502.jpg (50) After sending a contact request we will make corrections to your order then re print it and get it in the mail ASAP at no charge to you.

Q: I want to order a Team Photo CD. What is included when I order a Team Photo CD?
A: When orders are placed for Team Photo Cd's You will receive all Photos from the selected performance. Photos contained on the CD are sutiable for printing for sizes up to 8x10. Also contained on the Photo CD is a Digital Photo Slide Show that will play on most PC based computers. In many cases when making prints from the CD through a varity of photo labs you will be required to present a Photographers release form. National Event Photography will provide this release form with your order. Photo re prints made from digital media may only be used for personal use by the name indicated on the release form.
